Hey everyone, lemmingllama here. Today will be a short DevUpdate, but we’ll start to look into what’s coming with the 7.5 update. The 7.5 update will be focused around some event changes and back-end changes, but this week we’ll be discussing some optimizations and improvements that will be visible. Let’s get into it!
The bulk of 7.5’s updates will be to help improve our code quality in the back end. These changes will help the game run a bit smoother and load faster, and allow for us to make changes that previously were not possible.
One of these changes is that we will be able to change the Options menu to be available in Abyssal Tournaments. When your Abyssal Tournament account is created, it will inherit your current settings from your main account. However, you’ll now be able to edit them directly in your Abyssal Tournament. Some options will not be visible in Abyssal Tournaments that are not applicable, such as the Account and Notification settings, as these would not change anything with your Abyssal Tournament account.
