Hey everyone, lemmingllama here. With the 5.11 update beginning our updates themed around raiding, clans, titans, and quality of life improvements, we’ll be continuing this into 5.12 with some nice changes. First off, let’s discuss some more major quality of life improvements we’ll be making in version 5.12.
In the current game, the raid titan lords have hit boxes that move along with the titans as they are tapped. This is very thematic, but can have people occasionally miss their taps or have their Totem of Power fairies fly more wildly than expected. In the 5.12 update, we will be transitioning all titan lords over to static hitboxes, which will not move as you tap the titan. Overall, this should lead to a more consistent raiding experience. Hopefully those titan lords don’t mind being hit more easily!
Speaking of raids, we are also making changes to solo raids. Currently, it takes raid stones to power up the portals and tackle your solo raids against the titan lords. With the 5.12 update, we have discovered a way to power the portals themselves without the use of raid stones, allowing players to repeatedly attempt their solo raids until they succeed! Raid stones will be entirely removed as a currency with this change.
Now, not all the quality of life changes are centered around raiding. We’ll also be making changes to the tournaments and Abyssal Tournaments. Currently, you can only see the players directly above and below you, as well as the top players in the tournament. We’ll be changing these tournament lists to be scrollable, allowing you to see all players in your tournaments and their stages.
We are also making some changes to the Equipment tab. Previously, the equipment tab was sorted based on rarity and level. With 5.12, we’ll be introducing some additional logic to help prioritize equipped and locked equipment to the top of your equipment tab. Your currently equipped equipment will be placed on top, followed by your locked equipment. After that, the rest of your equipment will follow the more standard rarity and level sorting. This should help ensure that the equipment you need the most is prioritized to the top, and should make it easier when you need to swap your equipment often.

In addition to changing the equipment sorting system, we are also adding some new equipment sets. First up is the Inspired Lieutenant legendary set, which you can use to best show your loyalty to your clan. Owning this set will increase your current Loyalty level by two, and raise the maximum loyalty level you can reach to twelve. You will need to have at least one level of loyalty to benefit from this bonus, but it means that you’ll jump straight from 0 to 3 loyalty after you collect your first day of morale. Players will receive a larger Raid Damage and Advance Start bonus from this set by having higher loyalty than before. In addition to the +2 Loyalty Level bonus, you will also receive an Armor Boost to help gain even more gold.
Now, that’s not the only equipment set we are introducing. As many players have requested, we are completing the cycle of mythic equipment that boost your skill tree with Rygal, the Brilliant Engineer. Rygal will give a +1 Level to Tier 4 Alchemist Skills, which will help increase the power of your Auric Shot and Royal Contract skills. To note, you will need a minimum of one point invested in these skills to gain the bonus. Rygal will also give a standard Prestige Relic bonus for mythic sets, and a strong Alchemist Boost that increases your Gold Gun Damage and All Gold multipliers.
